Hey, how are you all doing. I've been a member of TDR for a while, but always just looked at the informational forums. I discovered these other forums now that I am laid up at home, due to my appendix deciding it no longer likes me. So I think I have read every post ever posted on TDR since well I am stuck at home and have nothing to do. Never even occurred to me to check for something that would connect me with other people in my same area. Anyhow, I got a gen 2, and it's a good toy. Friend of mine bought it a few years back and always wanted to do mods to it, but after enough pressuring from me decided to unload it on me. I said thank you, and have been putting a bit of money into it a few times a year since I bought it. I live about halfway between NYC and Albany, in the Hudson Valley, near the Catskill Mountains.

So hopefully I can get to meet some of ya'all and see trucks that would probably drive over mine.

Wow does it go now! It pulls to 3500 like a freight train. Smokes still, I think my Stage IV kit ain't gonna cut it! :-laf

That was greek to me... 435 tires? 60# springs valve springs? and 3500RPM? a cummins does that?

Sorry some of the stuff I get other stuff... takes me a while to look up

"What do you guys normally do?" CJ- thats a loaded question!! In the past, it has involved a Smarty, a dead end street, lots of smoke, very upset Italians and, had we not stopped, cement shoes and a trip to Onondaga lake!

I would like to. I'll be working on a project in Baltimore MD. and I will only be coming home every other weekend. So if it falls on a weekend when I'm home then yes. Only problem now is that I'm not sure of my schedule yet.

CJ, don't hesitate to ask if you aren't sure. If you check the stickies at the top of the Gen forums, they have most of the answers.

435's are injectors. BIG injectors! I got them mixed up with what the guy replaced them with, they are 370's. 60# are valve springs, needed when you have an exhaust brake or high rpm's. Oh, and 3500 rpm is loaded speed, I haven't tried it no load to see how high it will go! :-laf

it was either party or dyno! we can hang out if you guys want doesnt matter to me im gonna do my clutch this saturday at jimmys dads if it shows up, we can probally meet there if some guys are free, i know me and jimmy will be there.

So nobody ever said, where this get together is... that carries alot of weight with the boss. Anything beyond the Syracuse area will be a hard stretch but I think I could talk her into it. After all, she likes my truck, and wants me to get her a 2nd Gen in a sport package with more mods.

The boss pointed out to me that I need to learn how to read a calendar. I am working on the 25th. On September 1st I am already obligated to going to a BBQ on Long Island. Can't make either one
