It's really easy to change once you get the starter off. You will see it going into the block right behind the starter. Randy
 
thanks dave found it was not easy to get out broke off flush to block had to drill it out and put a bolt in it to pry it out. all fixed

Thats typical. The first time I bought one there was a $4 core charge (for real!). The counter guy sold it on a lower markup rate to knock a few bucks off because "we cant take back the pieces you'll be left with" :rolleyes::-laf
 
Good to hear it is fixed. There are others that have had a hard time removing the same sensor. Mine went out around 53k miles and removed fairly easily.
