it is for a mechanical pump, but it has a plate with a breather tube attachment that covers it... .

lost an injector and toasted the piston/scored the cyl wall beyond bore spec, a new block is around 1600. 00, and only 370. 00 to prep and sleeve from a local race engine machine shop...

I was just curious what had happened. A friend of mine got an '03 truck that had dropped a valve seat and the guy kept driving for about 300 miles. The seat was nowhere around and the piston and cylinder walls were hammered. We got that motor sleeved also. It purrs like new now. Much to my dislike it's still stock! I think that "chevy orange" will get you a 20% increase in fuel mileage!!
