1st Gen pulling huge combine

5th airborne install with pics

Just made new trip up to the Blue Ridge. Sitting at campsite about dark a fairly new Ford diesel pulling about 32 foot 5er was trying to back into his campsite. Was fairly steep grade. One that my 68rfe has no problems with. His TC absolutely would not get up. This 68 is absolutely amazing. :-laf

I've watched Fords trying to park 5th wheel trailers. It seems the engine is turning 4000 RPM and the truck can get over the lip (not even a curb) on the side of the road. With my 5. 9 / NV5600, I can idle up a 10% grade.

ford owners used to strike up conversation at the gas pump and at least glance over at you as you pass. i've noticed recently they won't even make eye contact anymore. dood at work owns a pretty new ford. i can't bait this guy into a friendly conversation about our trucks no matter how slick i try to be about it. funny thing is, i just want to get a good look at his ride but i don't like to scope other doods trucks too close unless i know them. oddly, i don't have a problem flirting with their wives and daughters though... ... priorities. i wouldn't actually do anything with their wives or daughters, i just like to check and see if i still "got it". i'm ranting, i just want to see how the turbos are set up.

i hear ya, the young ladies don't fiddle with the batting eye lashes and looking cute like they did when i was chasing them... ... . now they look at you with a killer instinct like a grey wolf scoping prey. it's a little embarassing that a 20 sumthin missy in the grocery store can look at me and give me goose bumps like i'm in danger. flattered to attract such a hot little thing? sure. but i've actually looked over my shoulder after leaving the store before to see if i'm being tracked.

Was in a park yesterday and this Ford owner, that was new behind the wheel of his truck and 31" keystone 5th was having problems backing in his rig. Being the nice guy that I am, was soon behind the wheel of this Year old rig. Wow new truck and trailer, well I was backing it in on level ground but on about 6" of gravel. I almost had to get a running start, this thing had no power. I though I had the E brake on, it was gutless. He can have his new truck. :-laf
