amsoil use

I wanted to check , Amsoil Ea , airfilter .

I am looking at having intake and exhaust valves made for the 12v cummins. I will have Ferrea do the valves in OEM dimensions but using much better alloys and angles. The valve will incorporate stellite seats on the valves. I need to get around 40 guys to commit to purchase as 250 pieces of each valve needs to be ordered, pricing will be around $300 total. Who would be interested?

I am not looking at the oversized valves, we did some flow testing and the oversized valves didn't do well do to shrouding..... Just looking to get a really good valve setup for the 12v guys.

What can we expect with these valves, (hard facts) and is there any other modifications needed to the head to run them?

What hard facts would you like? These valves are designed to take extreme heat and not have issues. The angles on the intakes valves will be 45* not 30* to increase flow. The stellite inserts will allow the valve to last 200K-300K miles. The current valves on the market are inconel and have a low temp fatigue as well as a low time between replacement. Also the cost of the inconel valves is a lot more than what these will be. No mods to the head are needed other than replacing your old valves with the new ones. These valves are not really needed for the 400-500 RWHP guys, these are for guys who want a high HP truck that has reliability and longevity. If I can answer any other questions please let me know.

Doug, ferrea did the valves in my first truck, they were their "special alloy" series in 1. 77" on the in. and ex. I payed i think right around $80 a valve. They were very nice peices. The valves your talking about would be a no brain must do for anybody getting ready to do their head.
