I am thinking of trying the CFM Plus intakes, but wanted to get some opinions on it first. Whos got them? How do you like it? How do they comepare to the ATS intake?

I just bought one with 3 ports. I should be home in about 8 days. Get with me in two weeks I should have it in then. I'll also install the grid heater delete block at the same time.

Got one on our 06 and had a ATS on the 05 and the fit on the CFM and the hold down bolts are a lot better than the ATS,plus it's a lot lighter!

I installed mine a couple months ago, sorryto say I don't notice any differance. I also installed a K&N air filter and a cool air snorkle.

I installed mine this past Friday (Sep 14th, 2007). I filled my truck up this past Sunday.

I'm going to do a comparison for MPG as well as Boost numbers and EGT reduction.

The real test won't be until mid October when I tow my Jeep again. There are some hills on Hwy 92 that I can watch the EGT and see what the reductions in EGT are.

Next addition is a new muffler.

The guys that are going to see the difference are the ones moving the the "air" . This intake is a more free flowing than the rest and it's not a big block of aluminum to act as a heat sink. I have noticed lower EGT's

Have you run any before and after dynos ?

I have had one on my truck for a few weeks now. I immediately noticed much lower EGTs and much quicker turbo spool up. I can feel a power increase. I initially ran it with the stock airbox, muffler delete, and Quadzilla standard box. Previously I had to watch the EGTs even on the 60hp setting. Now they are almost 200 degrees lower and that setting is no concern now. The 100 hp setting was almost unusable but works fine now, long uphill pulls can creep up to 1500 but it used to just peg the needle after a couple seconds.

It arguably made a much bigger difference than the CAI system I added the next day. Though the CAI made the turbo nicely audible:)

Overall, I am very impressed with it. Just comparing the stock one and the CFM+ it is easy to see the HUGE improvement in flow. Quicker spool up and lower EGTs are definately benefits of this part. It allows me to use the power adder more, which is the whole idea right?:-laf
