swapped out the turbo last night and finished the injectors an hour ago... no more lag for me!! passing is not a problem:-laf:-laftruck fired right up after ... the 4`s are definately smooth ... . see ya on saturday if anybody is going

Jeez - I want a set. 900 bones... . kinda curbs the temptation. Some people work 4 1/2 weeks for that kinda cabbage. I've got the same turbo and a set of Jammer 2's - I get plenty of smoke on 3x3 already. I am just about buying in to the Mach 4's being drivable/workable with these 'smaller' turbos.

Please let us know what your impressions are after you use them a bit.

I put a lot of miles on my old "01 ETH with Mach 3. 8's & a Dodgzilla with a port matched 14 cm turbine housing. Very smooth & drivable. It takes an educated right foot not to lay out to much black smoke at shift change time with the Smarty on #9 but it's not to hard to get the hang of it.
 
Love mine with the B1-2(14cm housing)very drivable and i still can tow the 11k fiver if i want to,usually sits around 8lbs of boost,pre is 980/post is 700-loaded. If it does climb above 1200pre i just drop a gear and it still keep pulling at 60-65MPG. Empty,the Smarty #5 or 7 (9 for playing) and the Mach 4"s ROCK,with the 6 speed you can drive around the smoke issues on take off. Oo. :DOo.

which turbo did you get??i got the 12 cm because 90% of my driving is empty... truck is a ROCKET

Ah, So you bought it through Source automotive and not through HTT. I see. What made you decide to go bigger turbo versus smaller injectors?
 
i love the way those injectors drive smooth and make alot of power . and can make an awesome smoke cloud :D. and i dont think that i would be happy downgrading. . once i have my mind set there is no turning back:-laf
 
The bigger turbo will help clear the smoke cloud a little bit. :)



Marcel what do you see for temps while towing with the 12cm housing and Mach 4,s? Also what do you see while normal driving?

you better get a smarty if you want more smoke my htt does a great job with my TST fueling and I cant say enough on how clean the mach 4's are compared to the shower nozzlez I had before. I have to lower rpm's and flog the turbo to get it to smoke with the smarty off. you will love them. I rarely see 700. temp with smarty on 5or7 and TST on 6 cruising @65-70mph empty I will hit 1000 if Im trying to kill a hill at 70mph when I'm about 3500 elevation.

good luck and yes Rip is great to deal with he has gone above and beyond for me on product warranty. and stuck behind the customers. Did you order the down pipe with the turbo?

What did you have for injectors prior to the mach4's? I have the 155 hp BD's and am not real impressed with them.
 
I had 100hp nozzles from edge I think they helped when I first put them on (stock) truck but when I bombed the truck they bombed on performance and they got jerky as you put power to them really bad when I towed

Well finally turbo and install kit came today . All I can say is i shoulda done it sooner . 1st thing on my list of To Dos tomorrow is to call RIP and thank him its amazing the combo is perfect i olny dove it a little bit will do more testing tomorrow :-laf. its like night and day Now what to do with that other turbo :D

i knew you would love it... ... . how do you like that 4 inch downpipe!!!!

Billvo... . temps are in CHECK..... i thought it would get toasty but it doesn`t... edge comp with my stock turbo... now that was HOT!!!!!!

I had the 4" downpipe on my other turbo so this was straight foward... Its like night and day . when i used to stand on it w the edge 1x1 and the super b w the 4's id see 1500+ in seconds . now so far just what i tested last nite same procedure and i cant break 950 . even if i put it in 5th lugging i only saw 1100. :-laf this is an awesome setup, theres only one thing i regret and thats not doing it sooner:D Thanks RIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
