Srt8 ?

Does anyone here own an SRT8?

I've been thinking on getting one for the wife.

I like the chrysler 300, she likes the charger.

What do you think of it(them)?

I liked the regular 5. 7 Hemi Charger enough that I would get one of them, and another 75-80 would be even better. In fact when I was in the dealership, there was a Detonator Yellow Charger SRT8 Super Bee sitting there; I asked if my discount applied to it but was told no. Otherwise, Id probably have that and a used truck instead of a brand new truck... I was actually impressed by the Charger. I liked the high beltline and the whole feel of the car.

My good friend just bought a used 06 charger srt8 Black with the 6. 1 all I can say is Wow what a ride drives like its on rail's and power past the 140mph mark as he showed a Bmw driver one night . I'de ask the wife if she likes tickets cause to me the srt8 is a ticket magnet .

Well, I say it's for the wife, but you know I'll have to drive it now & then just to make sure it's "right". :-laf

The wife never got a ticket in her life... . no she got one in my Grand National once. It was 90+ in a 55 zone. :-laf

I like both cars for different reasons. I'd be happy with either one, but I'm leaning towards the 300.

the 300 srt8 has the same motor as the charger that is the best motor sense the Orignal hemi that dodge has put in a car just hope she goes slow for atleast a few days .

I got the chance to help out G&S motorsports a lil on one of their supercharged 6. 1s. Oo. a street legal clean burning car doing 11 something 1/4s with handling to match. Go for it!

Yea, but how long did it last? All the supercharged new Hemis Ive heard about run good and then go BOOM!! Ive yet to hear of one that holds up, especially a GS Motorsports system...

The SIL got a 5. 7 in hers. If it dont say "STR8" on it, the biggest is a 340 hp 5. 7.



I'd like to supercharge it, but the $$$ and practicallity of the car will be a problem.

Chances are I wont get one, but it's something to consider.

My brother has a nice 03 BMW 745i #ad
on the lot, but it aint really my type of a car.
