Quick Smarty question.

I'm trying to load a new program. When I plug the Smarty into the computer, it used to say "new hardware found" on my screen in the lower right hand corner and I would click on it. Now, I plug it in and it just makes a sound. There's no message at all except an occassional "hardware can't be found" message that has popped up twice. Has anyone got any ideas? Also, I did not set my truck back to stock before trying to reprogram it. Will this make a difference? Thanks. .

I would try to reinstall the "SmartyUSB Driver" on your PC. Make sure to use the one that is designed for your Operating System

No worries about that, I contacted Bob a couple of months ago with that same question and he said don't worry about it.

Thanks guys. . I just kept pushing buttons until something loaded onto my smarty. . The bad thing is, I again didn't learn anything. . haha. .
