Drag Racing With The G56 ?

I've ben reading about guys drag racing with 6 speeds and turning low 13 second ETs at around 100 MPH in the 1/4 mile. (on asphalt) I'm impressed to say the least.

My questions are:

1 Stock trans?

2 How fast & consistent are you able to shift it?

3 Do you you use 2 or 4 wheel drive?

4 Leave in what gear?

5 Drag racing tires?

I have drag raced gas cars and trucks off and on for many years but did not know you could be competitive with a Cummins and 6 speed stick.

yes my trans is stock. i ran a consitant 13. 3 to 13. 5 with mine. and i can shift it very well. i run the whole track in four wheel drive. i have been leaving in second becasue all of my times are with the old SBC OFE. now that i have a DD i will try second and third. i run a set of BFG ATKO's i should have some new times on the 27th of this month.

I Want A Piece Of The Twelves With My Nv5600 And 37 Inch Tires

thats the plan for the 27th. i have upgraded injectors and added a modded pump, and the new clutch i think i should be in the twelves no problem.
