Whos had confirmed bad FCA and what were your symptoms?

I am trying to do some diagnosis, and find out what is going one with a problem with my truck. If you have had a bad FCA for sure, let me know what your symptoms were.

I had mine replaced under warranty by dealer. truck is an o4. 5 QC LB 2 wheel drive. my complaint was lower performance not bad like de-fuel just lost a step, and more engine noise, it began to sound like my '00 you know that good old diesel engine sound. and hard to start when warmed up and allowed to cool about 15 to 30 minutes. i was told that the extra noise was from it not allowing one of the pilot injections to take place.

I have replaced a few. The complaint on these trucks were at idle, the rpms would fluctuate, hard start when warm low power and would dye when stopping at stoplight or something like that. What problems is your truck giving you?

High rail pressure code at idle... Low rail pressure code under load!

none. on this note but still have high presure fuel leak that is driving me nuts! Changed my oil yesterday and the mess it's making is real disturbting to me. see the high presure leak thead if you have any ideas

I had a flucuating idle, would go up to about 11-1200 on its own and sometimes stay there. Also, at times it would not start right away, replaced like 55k ago and still fine... . Now to see what new tips and 2 new injectors do to a truck that appeared to be running OK before are going to do!
