Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Comp and Smarty?

Yes, you can stack them... use non-timing programs on the Smarty.

Yes, stackable as long as you keep Smarty on even numbered programs.



Depending on my mood Oo. , I run Smarty on 8 and the Comp on whatever the situation calls for :-laf... ... ... ... ... ... road trips I load #2 (for the cruise control benefit - anyone who has tried Smarty on a Catcher program knows about the surge :{).

FTwardoch, have you ran the smarty on just 9 and compared it to smarty 8 and comp 5? The reason I'm asking is that im using the same setup and wondering which route is better, I do believe though that the smarty pulling power for towing my work trailer is better but it could just be me

I've tried every level on the Smarty... ... ... ... ... started out with an EZ, then sold that, moved up to a Smarty and had ONLY that for a while (well, that and some Mach 1. 0 sticks). Added the Comp for the adjustability I wanted and was hoping it would relieve the shifting issues the Smarty on 9 gave me (if you have a manual transmission, don't worry about my comment... ... ... ... if you have an auto, find any thread that deals with Smarty and read every word and every response). So yes, I've run Smarty on 8 and played with the Comp up to level 5 and there is NO COMParison... ... ... ..... unreal pulling power and throttle response. Flat out gets it off the line, and when the TC locks up it's an E-ticket ride! Smarty by itself on 9 is fun but is not near the kick in the pants as the Comp addition. Oo.

Thanks, yah im driving with an auto, im going this week to get an airdog put on, i tried running the smarty on on mild with timing and i hit it pretty hard and my fuel pressure dropped to 4 before i could even tell what i was doing, soo i really have no clue how she runs until i make sure i got a steady fueling supply =)

Ditto here, working with a Juice/Attitude + Smarty combo.
