Somewhere here before i read about somebody replacing there steel fuel supply and return line with rubber line. I have the lines out of the truck and am thinking of not using any steel line again. Has anyone done this fix and how did it work out.

Theres a sponsor of this site , Geno's Garage , that sells a kit - the hose cut to the right length & hose clamps , I bought it but haven't installed yet .
It was easier to get what I needed in one shot than to take out measure & go get .
You should go to the user control panel & fill in the truck info so you can get answers that fit your truck .
I went to see if I could get a link to the hose kit , couldn't find it , give them a call .

Thanks John, Guess i left out a few details. 96 12v 4X4 ext. cab. It sure seens that a 1 piece rubber fuel line from tank to lift pump would be better that the stock Dodge mess they have.

Got some fuel line coming from Larry B. I'm going to run rubber line from front to tank. Larry B fuel line has a plastic inner linner to protect the rubber from the fuel.

looks like Larry B may have what i am looking for . . anyone have the phone # for Larry B's

Larry B's which is fostertruck.com . He has a list of other stuff you may one day need also. I bought my fuel line from him as well. 3/8" supply, 5/16" return. Sells by the foot. Good luck. Mike

Rubber lines are quick and easy, however if you go to the race track don't let them catch you with it. They won't let you run with just rubber lines. I prefer a nice solid steel line myself, with just rubber peices where it connects to the pump, etc.

I have 3/8 rubber from tank to lift pump w/o fuel heater but with inline fuel filter and when I switched to rubber I ended up with more fuel (ie more power).

Really, More power! I'm not surprised all those stock fuel fittings look pretty restrive. I'll report on any difference with the new 4" exhaust and fuel line.

No Numbers to support more power hopefully a seat of the pants feel. Truck isn't running as of yet, BUT WOW does using all rubber (Larry B's) clean up the mess Dodge had. I dropped the drive shaft and left the rear tank strap off to allow the tank to droop until i had the fuel lines hooked up. having done one now it's actually not very difficult.

my buddy did the rubber replacement lines. did away with the steel ones. double clamped them and had no problems. sold the truck this year. still the same lines. uscg grade lines. lasted 5 years,so far. i may be doing that tomorrow. mine finally crapped out. 10 years, not too bad, huh?
