I tried SW2,4,6,8 with the quad box while towing & there is a improvement in overall towing performance. The 35hp setting is timing only & it works very well with the fuel only setting of the Smarty, but doesn't seem to gain any power over the quad box alone. The 70hp setting works great, but too much smoke & egts are 150-200* higher although the overall power is awesome & the increase is felt through the entire powerband. It does stack well, but I still prefer the smoothness of the quad box alone.

Yup, the XZT + is available if you can find it. We went on backorder the day we shipped them.

Should be out of backorder in a week or so.

I know there should be some out there to be had as we had a lot of distributor stock orders. I am not sure how long it takes for them to trickle into the retail stores?

It is being tested now by the 01-02 guys. Quad had a problem with the manufacturer of his harness for the 98. 5-00 guys & he is shipping boxes out as he gets them in. I'm hoping to have my box soon. Quad has already released multiple programs for the guys to try & after getting some surging issues resolved is now working on giving it more fuel.

I'm one of the testers ('99)... here are my dyno sheets on the first downloaded tune on an almost stock truck, (using 3 of 6 power levels all changeable on the fly, at the top level I was out of air) this box is so incredible on the bottom and if I had the sticks/turbo it would be totally outrageous!!! This box will have all the functions of all the programmers/boxes out there and we have the choice of several "tunes" to play with as well...

swmnkdinthervr , good numbers! I am still waiting for my box to arrive. I hope to hear from Quad soon, but I don't want to be a PITA & go calling him because I know that he is busy. I still have the XZT+ beta box sitting here & haven't heard a word about the return date.
