I'm gonna go back to sending every 2nd or 3rd oil change in. I'll probably skip this next oil change, then send the one after that in.

You of all people should invest in a bypass filter!!!!

I just arrived in Los Alamos, will need to have the wife send my sample bottles out here so I can take yet another 10k sample.

It's all about expectations and comfort level - if you're happy with the results, you're all set... ;)

My wear metals are usually 2-3 times that of "Universal Averages", but my OCI is 2-3 times that of the "Universal Average" as well ... ... ..... so I don't see a problem. My reports were that way with CI oil as well.

Nice results again, the only thing that stands out is the fuel at 1. 5% that correlates to the lower flashpoint. Some makeup oil would help with the thickening. Air filtration is excellent considering rotella usually has a few ppm of silicon in it for anti-foaming purposes. Your wix filter is doing its job, but maybe a filter change halfway through would help since you will be adding makeup oil.

Yup, the fuel has me concerned. I had Flux1's put in this past spring, and now I have one knocking.

Since my trips are usually 7,000 miles or so, a filter change and a top off with makeup oil between trips is something I should start doing.

Doesn't Don M provide a service if you have his injector's? I'm sure the increase in pressure from the quad module you have can't be very good for your injector's either.

Yeah, I'm supposed to send them back when I get enough downtime. In the meantime, I haven't ran the Quad for awhile now.

I wonder if using a filter other than the NAPA Gold (Wix) filter would male a difference?

I think the EaO filter Amsoil offers is touted as being the closest a regular filter has came to a bypass... I have seen particle counts on the EaOs that show it filters well.

But I think you would be better off with a true bypass...
