It's always a good time with lots of stories when Brad is around. I will be waiting for him to send some pics tomorrow.

The picture I got from him on my phone was typical Prozac form. :-laf

I hope it was a great weekend for everyone without to much damage.

I want to say thanks to everyone that helped get my truck and trailer unburried on Sunday. Needless to say the wife let me know what a dumb a** I was for the 3 hour ride home. . hahaha

Thanks again everyone.

Great pics guys!! I wish I'd have taken more.

Highlights for me...

- This one started at home. I never got a chance to put some weight in the bed since I installed my full packs, and I was stressing they would be TOO soft. With about 600lbs in the bed it only squatted about an inch and a half so I was really happy. It was a bit boat-like though hitting the small whoops coming in/out of camp. .

- Passing prerunners/buggies/rails/quads/bikes/Rhinos down sand highway, in a damn near 4 ton Diesel is freaking GREAT! The best one was when Mike and I hammered down and passed a Fabtech 4. 0 kit Super duty like he was standing still. I could hear the guy spooling up to try to not be shut down like that, and when I looked back again all I saw was his trucks tail end trying to pass the front.

- I finally got up Olds geeeZZZZ!!! I had made 2 passes at it in high(1st gear), and didn't think I could pull 2nd gear w/o killing my stock transmission. 3rd try I backed up farther from the base, hammered it, shifted to second while almost still at the bottom, locked the converter, and mashed the pedal. Sean was shotgun this run, and the comment went something like, "you could have jumped off the top that time". . haha. .

- Sitting at the top of Olds in the shade of the 5 or so Dodges, and just BS'n watching the "show" of vehicles drive by was a nice break. .

Whens the next trip!!

Megadesertdiesel,

Nice job! That tailgate replacement/dual tire carrier is outstanding! $1700 would be a little stiff for me, but I would be tempted. May try to fab one myself and if it goes like similar projects, I should have about $2500 into it when I'm done!

Thank you,

Mickey
