Injector return flow test...

Thanks for all the help, I tried the exhaust manifold trick, and all the cylinders seemed to smoke for a couple seconds then cleared right up. I isolated them the best I could, and they all seemed to smoke then clear up the exact same way. The truck lately has been running great. I am going to keep monitoring the situation, but if it gives me trouble again, I am going to take the injectors out, and take the tips off soak and clean them. Thanks alot!

That may be fine to "clean' the tips, but if you have bad electronics, like I did, you won't be fixing anything.

I stopped by the dealer tonight and my mechanic said the same thing. Apparently they just diagnosed another 03 with a bad injector using the cylinder kill test. I'm still hoping sag2 will chime in to see what he thinks, but the truck will be going in to the dealer in a couple of weeks to get repaired. Ken Irwin

So how did you (or the mechanic) come to the conclusion/diagnose/isolate that you did have injector electronics problems? How did you find out which ones they were too?
