Though I find the 6 foot bed with duallies ugly. I am excited to see what Toyota might do with the Tundra and a Diesel. If is as trouble free as our Camry I'll be switching. No matter what, for us consumers more compitition against GM/Dodge/Ford is a good thing. As Toyota usually does a great job on pulling off great vehicles. Even if we might not buy it, it will push the big three to maybe lower prices and at the same time improve their products. I will have no problem buying a Toyota CrewCab max if it will come with a Diesel and a 8 foot bed. I have already driven the new Tundra and told the salesman, when they get a diesel motor and can match the towing compacity of my 2005 Dodge Dually I'll be back to test drive it.

Don't be scared of change and compitition!!

I agree with you, It must be strong enough and have an 8' bed or it will not be able to compete with the big three.
