Who likes them? Why or why not?

Got a couple here and some guys swear by them, but I have always been a Fleetguard guy. Let me know your thoughts!

While I don't specifically use WIX, I have heard that they are top notch. They have been around a long time. I too am a Fleetguard user but wouldn't hesitate to use a WIX. They make alot of filters for large diesels.

I've used dozens of WIX oil filter and quite a few fuel filters as well. While I've never had any problems with the WIX, the difference in the fuel filter quality is visible. The spacing on the pleats is much more uniform on the Fleetguard.

Interesting discussion here...

I've always used Wix filters in other vehicles and have no complaints. I bought a wix for my CTD a while back; it looked similar to the NAPA filter in that thread. Haven't done any in-depth research on oil filters, but I'm using Fleetguard at the moment.

I was however, more impressed with my Fleetguard fuel filter over the Wix unit...

mail order, buy a case, you know you'll use 'em :)

Who me? I only change oil twice a month :-laf

Ahh, I'm usually in there buying something anyway, I just grab an oil filter, fuel filter and 3 jugs of oil ... ... ..... it's to the point that they just head to the back for the filters when I walk in :-laf
