then had to upgrade the Roto chocks for the smaller spacing

Did you pick one of those tires up before they were mounted ? Man, they are heavy. Good thing you won't have to change one on the side of the road ... ... you could hurt yourself.



They should last considerably longer than trailer tires, and if you wear them out, they are recappable.

I did pick one up before they were mounted and your right, they are heavy. I also picked up the original ST's and loaded them in my truck to bring home since I had a buyer waiting for them. They were considerably lighter.
