It sounds like you did not have the problem before changing filter ?
How about brand & model # ?
How many miles since filter change .
You should fill in the info on truck in user control panel , hard to get good answers with out truck info ?

it was time to change the fuel filter the truck ran fine until then

now we have hard starts but after the truck runs and gets hot it start rite up the old looked filter smaller but I have used them before

the auto parts store looked it up and thats what I used

when I started the truck it ran for 2 sec then died

the fass would not kick on had to take the battery cables off

then the fassII pump would work taped the starter a time or two then i had to stay on the starter to get it to start

when I did the change I let the fass fill the filter not so good I guess

looks like THERE ARE TWO SIZE FILTERS 97-99 is the small on

and 00-06 is the full size one

they gave me the full size one for trucks 00-06 but my truck is a 99

need to get this taking care of

It sounded like you said the Fass was not turning on , if so you need to find why it lost power ?
Or maybe your fixed ?

it started rite up this morning

i guess it was full of air

it had to burp all the air out

the next time I will prefill the filter canister:eek:

it runs fine when hot but when cold it has a hard start

just changed the fuel filter

could they have me the wrong filter:eek:
