I have a 1999 3500 Diesel. I want to add a fuel pressure gauge. I have upgraded to a Banks power pack and exhaust brake. What fuel pressure range do I need? What is the stock range for fuel pressure?

With a stock fuel delivery system, you won't push over 15psi. If you have an aftermarket fuel pump (eg. Walbro, FASS, AirDog, etc... . ), you'll probably be in the low 20psi range.

My bad... . I was a little tired when I wrote my earlier post.
What NoSeeUm said in one line is what I meant to say, but, uh, forgot.

the VP44 likes 7-12 psi. the bypass in the VP opens @14 psi, but it should NEVER see less than 5psi. so a properly made system only needs a 0-15 guage but many use a 0-30 guage. mostly just need to match it to your lift pump pressure and personal style.
