Has anyone tried any modules (TS, Edge juice) or bullydog or superchip programmer? if so what worked and what didn't. any problems, etc???

I just put the Juice with Attitude on mine over the weekend. Runs fantastic. I hear that it will improve fuel mileage too but too soon to tell for sure. I hope so as I am only getting 13. 5 to 14 on the hwy. Hand calc. This truck has great potential I think if we can just get all the crap from chokeing it all up,,,,, if you know what I mean.

I will be happy to keep you updated. I will be getting it in about a week and have plans to install on the weekend between Christmas and New Years. Hope to have a great sound and better fuel econ!!!
Will let you know.

The Snow Performance water meth kit is supposed to help tremendously with keeping that DPF clear. I am going to put a kit on my buddies 08 that is running the Juice wam. He is seeing regen pretty regularly on power level 2. We had the guys here from Snow Performance giving a seminar last night and they were saying on their own 6. 7 it will hardly ever go into regen. I will let you guys know how well it works.

I thought that if the truck didnt go into regen after so long there would be either a forced regen or a CEL?

If you create enough heat in the exhaust system it is considered a passive regen and the computer should know it as it monitors egts. BUT I personnally would not use water meth as it raises cyl pressure to very dangerous levels in concentrated enough forms. Water injection yes but not the meth. IMO.

Which mounting option did you go with and did you go with the A2 model or the standard model? I am thinking to run the standard model and mount it above the rear view mirror but they dont know if that mount will work with the U connect mirror.

I just went with the standard maodel and used the little mounting bracket to mount it to the top of the dash nest to the A piller. You can run the cord down next to the piller pretty easy and then it fits real nice in that spot. They give you this really strong velcro and some sticky stuff to attach it to the dash. It sits up against the piller so when you push the buttons it is real stable. I didn't want to loose the handle and I like things all close to the dash. I didn't want to reach up to change the power settings either.

I would like to see a picture of that if you can post one please

NO MIKE,,,,, Mine is on the left side, not the right side of the steering wheel! So how do you like your bullydog???? Do you still have your DPF??? Why don't you bring it by tomorrow so we can compare the two. :):):)

I would like to learn more about the Bully Dog you have on their web page I only see it listed for the 5. 9 or maybe I missed something

using the water/meth injection is a great thing on a 6. 7. but like everything you have to do it in moderation. the water vapor produce is what helps the dpf. the water vapor will bound to the carbon and through the power of chemistry(at this point i can not remember any more) eliminates us of alot of carbon.

i assume most of yall have heard of using a hydrogen cell on diesels. the hydrogen replaces oxygen inside of the cylinder. H2 provides a very fast burn and not a slow long burn like the diesel normally burns. after the H2 burns it leaves a water vapor that helps in cooling the engine and ridding the engine of carbon.

but H2 and water/meth injection provide good side effects if it is used in moderation, also the added power is nice
