Has anyone tried any modules (TS, Edge juice) or bullydog or superchip programmer? if so what worked and what didn't. any problems, etc???
The Snow Performance water meth kit is supposed to help tremendously with keeping that DPF clear. I am going to put a kit on my buddies 08 that is running the Juice wam. He is seeing regen pretty regularly on power level 2. We had the guys here from Snow Performance giving a seminar last night and they were saying on their own 6. 7 it will hardly ever go into regen. I will let you guys know how well it works.
I thought that if the truck didnt go into regen after so long there would be either a forced regen or a CEL?
I will be happy to keep you updated. I will be getting it in about a week and have plans to install on the weekend between Christmas and New Years. Hope to have a great sound and better fuel econ!!!
Will let you know.
I just went with the standard maodel and used the little mounting bracket to mount it to the top of the dash nest to the A piller. You can run the cord down next to the piller pretty easy and then it fits real nice in that spot. They give you this really strong velcro and some sticky stuff to attach it to the dash. It sits up against the piller so when you push the buttons it is real stable. I didn't want to loose the handle and I like things all close to the dash. I didn't want to reach up to change the power settings either.
I would like to see a picture of that if you can post one please
Ahhh!!! The What?????![]()
If you create enough heat in the exhaust system it is considered a passive regen and the computer should know it as it monitors egts. BUT I personnally would not use water meth as it raises cyl pressure to very dangerous levels in concentrated enough forms. Water injection yes but not the meth. IMO.
