With a "GOT DIESEL" T shirt in place of a red coat and a RED NASCAR car 99 cap barely in place, he shouted down for all to hear as he drove outa' site - -

-"Did ya' git' ya' a deer this year?"

Twas the Last Drop Before Christmas
The tale of Dave and Minka his faithful dog on Christmas Eve
'Twas the Last Drop before Christmas, when all through the Warehouse
Not a creature was stirring, except for the waiting Tech;
The racks were all empty Oh what will we do,
Our only hope, the Dynamex Duo would be there soon;
The shoppers have all left the store,
While visions of ipods & iMacs danced in their heads;
Meanwhile the Dynamex Duo were taking a short winter's nap,
When suddenly from the airwaves there arose such a clatter,
They sprang from their beds to see what was the matter.
To the clamouring Cell phone they flew,
Another UPS job had just been dispatched.
One more Tech Pick Up to do!
A big blue Dodge, and its mighty Cummins engine awaited,
Its little old driver, not so lively or quick,
Here comes the Dynamex Duo.
More quiet than Ford's or GM's his Cummins purrs,
And he whistled, and shouted, as he drove along;
To the shipping dock! No time to stop!
Now haul away! Haul away! Haul away all!"
With the crunching and chirping of each studded tire.
Up to the shipping dock the mighty Cummins flew,
A truck full of toys, computer parts and the Christmas Grinch too.
And in a twinkling, I heard the dock door fly open
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
In through the door came the Dynamex Grinch with a bound.
Dressed all in Blue, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with road salt and soot;
A bundle of toys and computer parts too,
He looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
The hair of his head was as white as the snow;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly Grinch,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the racks and tore off the waybill,
And calling the anxious dispatcher,
And giving a nod, out the door he ran;
He sprang into his waiting Cummins, to his dog gave a whistle,
And away they sped with the drone of a Cummins diesel!
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"I just received one more dispatch, for tonight!"
