Not to turn the attitude of this thread too much, but apparently my "real" filters have done a better job than your "real" filters. Never anything than either WIX or Fleetgaurd stock type fuel filters in mine.

I've used WIX or the filters you get from amsoil only (they wix to? look the same). Changed out every 10K

The noises and what not have not changed since I put on the air dog.

Infact, I still keep the wix filter in the stock canister cuz well, it was easier to not remove the stock stuff :) So I have [fuel tank] --> Air dog (3micron) --> stock canister with filter (10 micron) --> cp3. I think I'll replace the filters once a year during my yearly fluid changes

I may get the elimination deal and add in an inline fuel heater at the pump in the future. This will require me to either re-run the supply line. Patch it, Or maybe be lucky here and put a "T" in there and move my fuel pressure sensor to that spot? baaah, I dunno yet.

As far do I tow anything? naaaaw. But I did redline 5th and 6th gear on 100 northbound getting on from the 77th street exit after I ran the truck though the car wash. 3500rpm sounds soooooo nice :). Still amazed how well the truck handles at that speed. even with a 20mph cross wind.

No ticks after that run :) I think that's still the key, beat the crap outa the truck, heat things up. I'm not sure what my EGT, rail or boost was cuz eyes on road more important. however I'm sure they were around 1400, 22,000 and 50psi.

I'll second that. I'll run up to governed speed every now and then and it seems to take care of a lot of injector sounding noises. I like to think of it as blowing out the carbon.

I had an off and on ticking noise over several days. The ticking quite when the exhaust valve seat finally fell out. The noise became more of a hammering sound at that point.
