I get 13 and im still trying to figure out how every body else gets these high #s no matter how I drive thats what I get

Please fill out your signature line so we know about your truck.

Are you towing?

How long have you had your truck?

Tell us some more about your driving habits and where you drive.

It should be possible to increase your mileage with a little work.

I am sorry but I do not understand your post.

Am I to understand that you installed 275rv injectors in your rear differential?

Then you replaced them with 300rv injectors and lost 2mpg?

Are you just being humorous?

Changing from Bosch 275 injectors to Bosch 275 injectors should not have changed your mileage by 2mpg was there some other factor?

(In the states we normally install injectors in a 24 valve in the engine not the rear diff. )

Jed..... that is really freakin funny!! LMAO!!

I just installed the 275's from EDM 2's from DonM and am waiting to see what I get not going over 70mph on a daily commute 44miles a day.

Hopefooly better than what I originally had...

best i have ever gotten in the 170k miles I have put on my 99 was 17, keeping mph @70. typically both trucks get an average of 15mph with a combination of driving the backroads and highways.

pulling our 24' stock trailer loaded out from CA the 99 was getting 9mph and the 00 was getting right around 10mph.

worst I have gotten was 8mph  on the 00 pulling a basically empty 24' gn stock trailer into a nice strong wyoming head wind (probably 40mph wind sustained), pushing along at 70mph at full 17psi of boost for 150 miles (cheyenne to Rawlins for those familiar)

I always figure it by hand calc, overhead rarely is even close.

At steady 75mph on interstate, used to get about 19. 5 stock. Now with Edge Comp on setting 1, best I got was just over 22 (all hand calc).

I drive 200mi to my girlfriends roughly half flat half mountains, salem-grants pass. Been doing it for almost 2 yrs, twice a month, played with different comp levels, speeds, rpm's, tire sizes. With 31's best ever 26.

35's average 23, 1900rpm, 79mph

35's average 19, 1700rpm, 70mph

City average 18

Dosen't make a difference what edge level, turn the sublevel down if you use cruise though.

Hand Calculated MPG's w/ calibrated odometer

18. 5 mpg city with RV275's and just about any timing box or programmer I've tried. The RV275's have been the most consistent of all injectors as well.

Have spent a lot of bucks trying to get up to 20 like some of you, and so far its not in the cards for this truck. Not whining because it runs excellent, just wont do 23 like some people are seeing.

Never seen 20 even on the open road at any rpms, throttle settings, driving patterns, etc. Being a 4x4 is obviously a slight disadvantage for fuel mileage, but some trucks just seem to get better mpg's than others.

On Monday I will take a Few hundred mile cruise and begin @ 0 topped off and go 500 miles, and re fuel and will let you all know WTF happens:)

I get 18+/- in the city... . 22+/- highway... ... 24 was the best I have had on the highway..... all figures are unloaded

My mpg took a dump in the cold weather we had in December. I usually see 17-18 and it is down to 13-14. Alot of short trips, city driving and plowing my driveway is what I hope is the problem... ...

Mileage always somewhat lower

I always get the bottom end of the mileage, hand calc'd and every tank logged since new:

2002: Bone stock to 396 hp: 13. 5 mpg avg; about 9 mpg towing 17K 5er @ 70 mph. Truck weighs 9,600 Lbs. If I babied it I might get 15 mpg? Add ons DDIIs, Edge EZ w/ TST PM-3 Stacked on it, BD 4" exhaust, BD exhaust brake; Scotty II Air filter, FASS 150GPH, 55 gal tool box/fuel tank combo, Amsoil bypass w/ aux engine oil cooler, Fast transmission coolers, two 5-drawer Craftsman tool boxes both sides in bed behind wheel wells, RS-9000s shocks,.

2003: Avg 17. 5

1993: Avg 17. 5

I pretty much rev the 2002/1993 2000 to 3000 rpms depending on requirement to acelerate. We have short acceleration lanes here in TX. The '03 is an auto.

Yep, it's slap full of tools too... 4 ea 3 ton jack stands, 20 ton hyd jack, 20K lb tow strap; 1/2" and 3/8" torque wrenches, the two tool boxes w/ slide drawers are below bed rail and slap full of tools. I have really heavy steel diamond plate framed w/ 1" tubular steel running boards, steel tube rear bumper (looks like oil field pipe) and tubular steel brush/grill guard. The sucker is heavy. :D
