A pusher pump will help it from running out of fuel. Glacier Diesel, Air dog and FASS are some of the popular names around the forums. As far as modifying the pump itself, I don't really think there is much to do. Last I remember I don't really think it was worth it modyfy the stock one. Better off jsut getting an aftermarket one or a kit that you can use 2.

you can modd the afc and drill out the pump housing, and yes its worth doing! makes a huge diff,if y r mechanically inclined its easy if not let me know

AFC??? how do you modd that part. and also any pics of you drilling out your pump?

What about throwing on a duramax cp3. some of the aftermarket people told me something about it. but its been a few months for me since i was in active in the diesel seen things are changing fast and I am very forgetful.

It is an FCA mod, fuel control actuator. If you go to Relentless Diesel's website, they show you how, complete with pictures.

i need some info on how to get more out of my stock cp3 pump if there even is any thing to do

Have you thought about going with a dual fuel feed line from the cp3 to the common rail . Industrial injection offers one. just a penny for thoughts... . Oo.

yeah they $300 bucks. try usinga piece of your neighbors garden hose it should handle the pressure. :-laf

Disclaimer: do your HW on injection systems on diesels and garden hose of your choice before you install. use common sense and a shop before install. consider hiring a experienced tech that knows diesels well if you have never done this install before.

with modified the pump like the pictures shown, how much power is capable out of the stock single pump? Is this the same basic things that you get when you spend the big dollars on a modified pump?
