On my truck there are holes and deep gouges that are in the top, which would require professional repair. I was thinking it would be easy to just buy some diamond rails to cover it up. Fords, chevys and dodge all have difffernt width rails, I was looking at some universal ones a tractor supply but not sure it they would fit. Where is everyone getting theirs?

Also what is the going rate for spray in LineX without doing side rails for an 8' bed. Just an approx would be fine as I have no idea.

The going rate for Line-X is around $400-$450, and that includes the rails. You ought to talk to a Line-X dealer, because I'd bet that they can prep the holes, scratches and gouges so that they're filled in when the spray job is completed.

I've had a Line-X bedliner on a previous truck and was very happy with it. I'm planning on having one sprayed in on my current truck as soon as I get it running a little better.

I went with BAK plastic bed rail covers from 4wheel parts. price was less then the price BAK quoted me at the factory. Al. requires maintenance to keep in nice looking Ed I cover the tailgate and front panel as well.

Bought mine from Tractor Supply. They had them for Dodge's, Ford and Chevy when I bought them. They were pretty inexpensive, too. They also had the one for the tailgate.

I took the aluminum diamond tread rail caps off right after I bought my CTD and then had a bed liner installed over the rails. $450 or so if memory serves.

The rail caps are sitting in the shed. PM me if you're interested.
