recent dodge diesel production numbers??

I was wondering if there is anyway to find out what the diesel production numbers have been for the last few years for the big 3 companies, I sure see alot of '06 and '07 dodges driving around and a whole lost less fords, I am just wondering if fords problems have had a big impact on sales

i can certainly see them losing some of the market with the release of their 08 "white elephant" diesel. the majority of the 08 ford diesel owners i know have bought their last ford diesel.

I think the Dodge 6-speed auto must having an impact on both Ford (Did you read about Ford's upcoming layoffs?) and GM.

I'm sure they will only build the 1500 as Nissans. It's easy to keep the cab the same except for bumpers, grille, fenders, hood, lights, maybe door skins and bed skins slightly more angular for the Nissan. But they could end up offering the Cummins v6 in the Nissans. That may be nissan's goal, a diesel engine certified for 2010 emissions.



Isn't it interesting that VW is running late on their 07 emissions engines, there still is no 08 diesel yet, maybe in 09? Cars and lighter pickups have stricter emissions than HD trucks.
