Short answer is no unless you go with something like ATS's stand alone controller and not sure it has been tested on the CR trucks.
The 48RE is not an electronically controlled. The flashes ONLY address the relationship between gov pressure and electronic TV motor. All the ECU is doing is influencing the shift quality and timing not controlling it. Add to that the program that runs the TV motor is rather limited in what it can do because of limited inputs so there is really only small things that can be done.
What year truck do you have? The 03-04 trucks have a TV cable. The 04. 5 trucks and up have an acctuator. DTT makes a shift enhanser (external controler) that we can program to take care of the hunting problem in the acctuated trucks.
