Dealer wouldn't even look at mine until I take off the popup camper. So what do I look at to make sure its not about to fall apart? I ask since I get a vibration/wobble going over bumps. 4x4 of course.

If it were me, I'd check torque on all the front end fasteners, check play in the ball joints, check play in the steering linkage, and check the condition of the grease in the tie rod ends (by pumping in more grease and looking at what oozes out).

I might even pull the shocks and check them.

That's pretty pitiful of the dealer. Your truck with the FWC is well under the recommended weight threshold. I'm carrying a Northstar which is probably 800# over yours. You might just go to a reputable frontend shop.

What kind of shape are the tires in? To ad to your checklist, the steering dampner is worth checking too. Just make sure everything else is OK first because a dampner like that can cover for other real problems.

There is a tsb that gives a quick overveiw on what to ck. It also includes the part# of an improved s/stabilizer. Now days not many dealers have lifts capable of lifting a Camper. Back when Dodge was building Motor homes it was a lot different.
