keep in mind i plan on tinting the windows dark and if i go with black wheels i will put a black box and black bedrails on her. if i go with silver wheels, i will put a silver box and leave the silver bedrails on her. she will have my BFGs off the burb (mud terrains) on her. A 2 1/2 " leveling "softride" kit will also be put on her.

bernie, i have micky thompson 17" classics. i plan to get them powder coated black in the futre, the match the stacks, bumpers, ect. i would just powder coat your wheels that you already have, their good wheels. i got a qoute of $50 a wheel. if you have to have one of the ones listed tho, id go with the top, ive always loved those.

well i'm putting the 35s / 12. 5 / 16 from the suburban on her, so the burb can get 38s. so i'm limited to a 16in rim. the current rim is a 16. 5 which is an odd size.

ah i see, well i dont no your budget, but if i was you id look around, im sure you can find somthing somewhere. theres something that will fit. but if you have a very specific type of tire your looking for, than i can see where youd run into problems

i already have the tires, they came off a different truck. just have to decide on what rim.

oh i gotcha now. give me one minute and ill post you some photos of other black wheels i like. ive done a lot of looking for good black wheels in the past. ill try to give you a good price range.

The half inch increment rims specify heavy duty. 16. 5" rims are heavy duty, while 16" are standard... Thats kinda starting to die out though. Your truck needs E rated tires if its going to carry to its fullest ever, and thats a toss up on 16", but 16. 5" will most likely always be E tires. Only issue is that the size of the lip on the 16. 5" rims makes them terrible for hardcore offroading because the tire can seperate from the rim more easily.

I take it your burb has heavier axles with the 8 bolt pattern, eh? Thats pretty cool... Bigger and better... always.

I agree with Jimmy though, the top ones are the coolest looking.

ok i got a buncha goodies here for ya, im gonna post em one at a time, with a picture of the wheel design, then a link to the page with the prices and sizes, sound good?

thanks i'll look into them as well. i really want theses

Moto Metal

but they dont come in a 16 :mad:

my fav so far are the XD in black because they kinda look like the "revolver" part of an old revolver if you step back a little. but i still cant even decide between black or silver...

Ah... a one ton... that makes sense. You know, I've always been a Dodge man, and always will be... but I've always like the older Suburan. If only Dodge made one... . My goal is to one day fuse an old 4 door dodge with a ramcharger, and tool it around with a Cummins... eh, wish in one hand... you know the rest.

You know, I like these rims too, but I gotta throw a handful of sand in the pudding here. You really should get rims that are weight rated for the truck they are going on. I like the Rockstars, but I seriously doubt they are rated for 3000 lbs. I didn't even see a rating on the spec sheet.

What's the 'burb weigh? 6k? Divide by 4, 1500lbs on each rim. GCWR, (loaded with a trailer) 8k? 2k on each rim, plus you need a safety factor.

Same with the Dodge. I'd be afeared of a rim disintegrating. :{

Ok, back at it! :-laf
