I am super embarrassed as I just saw my sig and two of my past listed trucks said lariat instead of laramie. I would like to take this time to not only thank all of my ctd,tdr brethren for allowing this to go on for God knows how long but to also admit my deepest, darkest, secret. I owned a 6. 0 Ford in 03' when they came out. I was good little TDR member by the handle XXLTXN and always made fun of my ford buddies pointing out the supremacy of our CTD at every social event. Then... I saw HER... on the way to Robert Lee Texas for a New Years party at my buddies ranch. It was a black and tan crew cab LARIAT 4x4 with tan interior and all the bells and whistles. The salesman explained how the NEW international 6. 0 was state of the art and wholeheartedly agreed with me that until that moment Ford had been behind in the diesel race. I ate up every word as I had longed for a true 4 door truck because I am 6'8" and about 300lbs with two(at the time) Cane Corso Mastiffs. I bought it on the spot getting 24kish for my truck and paying a thousand over invoice for the Ford and drove it to the ranch. The next morning I started it up it poured white smoke for almost a minute in front of my good time crowd wanting to see and hear the new motor. I had burned up two injectors on the third start of the trucks history. I have never cheated on my wife but i imagine thats about how it feels. I knew I bleeped up. Long story short I burned up a total of 8 injectors, had three turbo's,has the first catastrophic torqshift failure in the southwest and would have lemmon lawed it if i had not put a zillion dollars of stereo, sreens, dynamat, etc plus big tires, ranch hands etc. It was stolen and recovered and I had my chance to get back into a dodge with only a few thousand $$$ of inequity due to the insurance. I bought my 05' and although it too was stolen(Our house is on the market) it was the best truck and most of all, I was back. I avoided TDR for a couple of years as I knew I had gone to the Dark Side but I'm back and ready to talk trash with powernopes and the bowties. Thanks for listening. Im going to do 10 Hail Mary's and roll around in dirty diff. oil as penance. I feel much betterOo.
