How would I know?

I have a 2004 CTD 2500 4x4 Heavy Duty with Automatic.



How would I know if I have the 11-1/2" differential?



I want to buy a Hellwig anti-sway bar and it looks like I need to be very sure what differential I have.

I think the AA 11. 5 is your only option on the 2500 or 3500 2004.



Check your glove box for the spec sheet on the truck or go to my photo gallery to see pics of my AA 11. 5 and see if looks like yours.



It has 14 bolts on the pumpkin cover.

If you have the HO (305 HP) you have the 11. 5

... but is the diff the same for SRW and DRW on the 3500?

The center section is the same on a 11. 5 between the SRW and DRW. You do have some slight difference in the width of the axle (tubes and shafts), and slightly different hubs to compinsate for the DRW
