Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 24v chromoly push rods & valve springs

Zack Hamilton of Hamilton diesel stop by our shop today to show us his new push rods & valve springs. There are allot of the heavy hitters using his products just not under his name. We will be selling his Cams, Springs, and push rods here. The push rods are very nice! He was here for about 2 hours talking. . things sound good. . This month there is a package deal for springs and push rods on 24v 98. 5-07s check out these pictures.

Hamilton is a great guy to deal with! he did all the machine work on my cylinder head, and it runs great! plus its great cuz he's only a couple of hours away from where i live!

up to 80psi and 4500 rpms

1. 4 110lbs

1. 1 219lbs

1. 0 258lbs

these are an Beehive design there is also HDVS24-2 for 120psi boost and 6500rpm

GiesJ - it seems the answer was in the specs, over 60psi and/or over 4000 rpms.

I always thought after market springs would get you to 60 psi and 4k rpm. I guess I was wondering the benefit of the push rods.

Well, if you have a real aggressive cam with lots of lift like a PDR stage 3, you run a pretty good possibility of bending a push rod at 4000rpm. I've personally seen two different engines with this cam bend push rods.

24v Install height is 1. 360 on stock 1. 370-1. 380 on head with valve job.

Your stock 24v springs are 80lbs on seat

All these aftermarket 24v valve springs like Hamiltons, and F1's seem VERY similar to PAC valve spring # 1214 & # 1214 but for a lot less money. Seat pressures and load pressures are verrrrrrry close, O. D & I. D are verrrrrry close.
