I downloaded the file and had the same problem. Even the new Adobe Reader would not open it. Are you able to open it at your site?

Just for grins, I tried downloading it... it came through fine on this end.

When I was downloading the others, I had the same problem... I found that the system was sensing "inactivity" and closing the connection prematurely. So I just had to have another page open and keep on searching/surfing/researching...

Hey guys. I live out in the boonies and am still on dialup internet access--no way to download 280mb in less then 3 days; in fact, I have tried this link, and don't even get a reply for 30 minutes. Any chance that one of you that has succesfully downloaded the manual could "pay it forward" by burning me some cd's and mailing them to me; I would happily cover the costs of discs and shipping. You can get the manuals shipped to you on a CD for less than $13. 00 on eBay! Just put this string in the eBay search window: "dodge ram (service,repair) manual" and then click on the search button. Look through the results for entries that DO NOT show a picture of a paper manual, and odds are they'll be offering it on a CD (check the individual listing).

I have a 2005 truck. Other than a few cosmetic changes, is the 2006 manual pretty applicable to my year model?
