Nitto wear indicators. When do they show up?

I just got my truck a few months ago. It has the stock size (265/70-17) Nitto Terra Grapplers on there. I am pretty pleased with the tire itself, they look to be a little worn. I am wondering with about how much tread left (1/4 penny? 1/2 penny?) the tread wear indicators start showing up.



Just curious about how much life I have left in these.

I got 56K miles out of my 305/70-16 nittos. There was still some left, but I tore one on a stump so changed them all.
