Maybe as a cheaper way to get 35" tires? Persoanlly I think those wheels are ugly on the H2 and even worse on a Dodge.

I went with h2 rims on my 96 only because of the offset is better than most aftermarket were at the time i did it. Mabey aftermarket are available now that dont hang over the sides of the truck.

the wheels are dirt cheap to buy if you can find a good deal [which is often] i'd have purchased oem dodge wheels [steel or alum] if i could have got the price i got the h2's for. .

I think they look good... where can i get a good deal on a set for my 06? also are they a 17 inch wheel or 18?

The H2s up to this point have mostly been 17s. Some dealers upgrade them on the lot to 18 or 20s. But starting with 08i the H2 will be getting 18s and 20s shipping from the GM plant.

The rims are a little wider and the offset makes the trucks stance a little wider which I think looks great with some pocket fender flares. I got my first set to beat up while I am plowing and I think I may get another set to paint black and see how it looks. Its a really cheap way to get a full set of rims and 315 BFG A/T's in one. I like how the rims look too.

Reasons:

1. Cheap. . I got 5 New wheels and 315/70 BFG ATs for $625

2. Back spacing... less than stock, doesn't rub on suspension arm

3. Related to #2... wider track, more stability

4. Different than stock... although I like the looks of the stock wheels (and easier to clean)
