Mobil 1300 still available in CI-4

That's what the Mobil guy told me today. Using the name "Delvac 1300 super" will get you the new CJ-4, but the old CI-4 is still available under a new name. I can't remember what he said it was. Something like Mobil Delvac 1300 MX or something like that. I'll call tomorrow and find out if I can.

Kinda worthless info w/o the name, but I thought I'd let ya'all know anyway. It didn't sound like it was limited availability or anything. Sounded like they are going to keep making it.

Another thing... I went to Exxon Mobil Corporation to look for the name and I instead I found a rebate form for $15/5gal pail bought before 4-30-08. Looks like I've got 30 bucks comin' my way. $3/gallon jug too.

I just ordered 25 gallons of CI-4+ Valvoline from my local NAPA in 5 gallon pails. That'd do for a little while.

Yep, Premium Classic Blue. It was a special order. I really wish I could run the stuff in the wife's Liberty. I'm sure it'd be OK, but 15-40 isn't what is called for.
