Made in America Compressors!

Lift for the shop.

Anyone know where I can get one? I have an issue with stripped sides to a nut but there is enough tread on top of it to thread on another nut. if the thread was backward, I could turn the "stud" right out... .

A left hand nut will not thread onto a right hand bolt. If the flats on the nut are bad craftsman makes removers that work well.

Sounds like you got the correct information. Just one thought. If you have a right hand threaded stud that sticks out above the rounded off nut, just thread another right hand thread nut onto the stud and jam it against the existing nut. If necessary, a quick tack weld, inside, would permanently secure it, then, with the PROPER Socket, Wrench it out. GregH

Got it out. I didn't do it. it was a combo of an older socket just worn a little and them cheap nuts. there was enough at the bottom of the nut for a local shop to get it out with their socket.

The is a banks high-ram intake manafold by the way... . it's rather ugly and not so clean cut with these "studs".

Like he said, cheap tools are never a bargain. Craftsman quality is in the can these days.

I have to disagree. There are some "SEARS" tools that are Chinese, but the Craftsman are still good quality at a good price(and, for the most part, made in the USA). I have some Craftsman that are better than my Bluepoint ( Snap-on second line)

Bob V, no kidding, once I heard someone say that they could use a left hand threaded nut on a right hand bolt, just turn it backwards, granted there was no left handed nut to prove? it.

LH nuts will not thread onto RH bolts
