I put on a HTT 62/14 a while back and it came with an electrical plug for somewhere in the wiring harness that looks like it just loops back into itself. Is this a boost fooler? Will it work on my 03? WHere do I plug it in? I bought it form ETR. Im running a bullydog triple dog programmer.

Even though the 03 and early 04 wastegates are mechanical, and if you want to change the opening point on your new turbo's wastegate you might want to run the boost fooler. The boost fooler plugs into the Map sensor and then into the wiring harness going to the Map sensor to trick the ecm into thinking that there less pressure than there is so that the ECM does not defuel the engine when boost pressures get to high.

I have been thinking about getting one for my truck.

If you set your mechanical boost higher then you will need the fooler to prevent throwing a overboost code too.
