I installed mine and they fit next to my 4" exhaust. Tube of sealant did good, no leaks. I put the trucks left wheels up on ramps so I could put all the oil back in.

Haven't towed with them yet but I had the fast coolers and 1 qt over before. . hope this helps some. . I was always seeing 225 deg... so if this helps to below 200, then great!. No pics yet.

Yah Bob King had them built. They were at Geno's for a while, but there was a hang up with the guys that were in charge of building them in the mid-west. Bob did a nice job with them. Nice guy too.

They seem to be doing the job well. I am now experimenting with oil levels to see what affect that has on temp.

I run Amsoil in it now since the new Blumenthals trany went about a year ago.

Went... as in blew up? Or "went in"? Thinking of maybe using them on redoing either the one thats in there now or the "spare" thats lying on the garage floor.

Sounds great, just ordered in a 4500 conversion for the '93, hopefully the wallet recovers in a week or two from that. Then take my spare 5600 back to OKC along with the getrag core in a few weeks when I pick up a trailer in Shawnee. Damn '93 started making nasty noises yesterday on the way in from Utah.

recently got a set from Genos. . going to do some before and after testing and report results. My truck should be a good test as it is a 96 1 ton with a flat bed boxes etc, empty sits at 9K but I have a trailer on every day and which puts it at about 15K +.

I was impressed with the quality of the set. It remind me of an air cooled motorcycle head. I have no doubt it will do a better job than the fast cooler. My only suggestion to the gentleman that was selling them at May Madness was to have a magnetic plug on one of them since you only need one temp sending unit. I should have bought one but have to wait till Geno’s start selling them.
