They are playing pretty good, but we will see what happens in game three and four. I sure am glad Franzen is back, even though my favorite red wing is McCarty. . :-laf :-laf

Dave. . LETS GO RED WINGS!!!!

As you can see I live in MI but I hate Detroit and would never cheer for one of their teams. That city is a disgrace and a drain on this state, and don't even get me started on the P. O. S. mayor they have over there.

Haven't been through Detroit in over 10 years now, am I missing anything?? :-laf

Go wings!!! I personally think professional sporting events are lots of fun and very exciting. Detroit needs some serious work and cleanup efforts. I don't think every little thing in this world has to be political. I still support our local teams.

I hope the wings come to game 4 with a better attack than last game. I think it was a genius coaching move to put Pitts best line against detroits #4 line. I think it was successful, crosby's 2 goals. Babcock will regroup his team and show up on Saturday night.

Again, Go Wings

Dave

Game 4 was a coached and played good by detroit. The wings focused on what they had to do and got the job done. I hope hey keep it up and bring the cup to detroit.

Go Wings!!

When I lived in Detroit, I, occasionally, went to Red Wing games at the Olympia Stadium. Saw Gordie Howe play. That was before helmets. Very entertaining!!!

I agree that Detroit has MAJOR problems. Many of which were the reasons I left for Phoenix, AZ. in 1976. However, I really do miss the friendships I had back in Detroit. There are a lot of wonderful people there & I still keep in touch with some of them even after all these years.

The area I, basically, grew up in is Redford Township (NW side of Detroit, right on the city limits). I was back there in '02 & '04 & the neighborhoods still look very good & well maintained. There is a strong Polish influence in the Detroit area & regardless of all the Polish jokes, those folks have a lot of pride & it is reflected in the way they take care of their homes & neighborhoods. You'll have to really look to find a weed in one of their lawns.

Well, back to the Hockey game!!!
