Stealing fuel and locking gas caps...

One idea for your tax rebate

I received an email from the company I use to provide stats on my website. Apparently, they are having trouble with PayPal double charging customers, delaying invoicing, and not responding to emails or phone calls. I haven't used PayPal much but I've never had any trouble. Is anyone here having trouble? I ask because I'm finally getting my business (no, I am not trying to advertise!) set up and I plan on using PayPal to process the payments. Thanks for any input.

Never once had an issue. In fact they have fought battles for me and won. BE WARNED there are so many scammers out there that try and get your paypal info theyy will send emails that look so legit that you are tempted to look. Believe me DON'T! They have your vitals and if they want to get in touch they will by doing so in a legaland lehit manner..... Not email.

Scams saying that there has been a double payment get you to "Verify" your account info by "Logging in" to confirm, Scams saying that there has been some suspicious activity on your account, a frausulent withdrawl, etc etc.

Trust me when I say that they will do anything to scam a PayPal subscriber as it is the most sought after digital money transfer company in th eworld.

ANY email that has a link in it from "Paypal" and I quote that because of fake sites that look legit, You simply HOVER your mouse pointer on the link WTHOUT clicking. Take a look where the address is leading you to and if it is anything other than https:// then you can bet the farm it is not legit.

On a buisness sense it is the smart way to open new venues as they have a great invoicing system, records, and other really nice buisness savy ways to conduct transactions.

I have a problem with PayPal. Something is wrong with my account that I can't fix. They have the wrong email address for me. It's my old one. So when I try to log in it fails. I could fix it if I could phone them but I'm too deaf to do that. I can't even delete my account and start over. No one, not even my wife, can call them but me so I'm stuck.

Thanks for the replies. The email didn't ask for any personal information and I don't give it out via email regardless of who I think is asking for it. :)

You should be able to log in using your old email address, add a new address and then make the new address the primary address. If you've forgotten your password and you no longer have access to the old email address, your account might be locked and you might be SOL.

You might try sending them an email and ask if they have Telecom Devices for the Deaf (TDD) devices (although hearing-impaired folks still prefer to use the original acronym: TTY). Then if your computer has a modem built in, you might be able to use the software from PCTTY -- A TTY for Window's PCs to emulate a TDD device.

I know the password. I've tried all the combinations of things I can think of. I can't access the account to add a new email address or anything else because my old email address does not work and my new one does not match what they have on file. The only response I get from an email is to call them even when I tell them i'm too deaf to call. Obviously they can't read the English language. When I try to start over with a new account my mailing address causes a reply that I already have an account. I gave up and just use my credit card for on line purchases.
