Last Oct. '07, I bought the Lorenz/Bilstein 5100 System for my '03, 3500, 4X4. I needed shocks & thought that I did not want to go through life without a suspension system.
I'm an older guy so, I don't "jump" my truck over tall buildings or anything else, for that matter. However, I do drive over forest roads, occasionally.
My neighborhood has speed bumps on some of the roads. With the stock suspension, anything over about 10 mph. would compress the front suspension enough to hit the speed bumps. I can hit them at 20+ mph, now, without hitting the speed bumps. In fact, I've never hit the speed bumps sith this new suspension. So, something is working!!!
I know that some of you guys like running your trucks hard & that's great. Some of us don't & I thought I'd post this comment for the guy who's needs are more like mine.
Since I installed the suspension, myself, & I'm not always sure which end of the wrench to grab, I ran into a couple of questions that Sean took care of promptly & with patience. I was appreciative of that help.
