Hello,

I am currently working with Brady at II on a twins setup for my ride.

I want to have the air flow of my silver bullet 66 but the driveability of my sps 62 !!

In other words have my cake and eat it too !!!

I am wondering what is the compressor size of the k31 and the s400? also does anyone know the cfm flow rate of the k31 and the s400.

Seems as if I can run a ps62/k31 as twins or ps62/s400

Looking for quick spool from idle and lots of air up top ! Yeah Right !!!
thanks !!!

I have II tow twins that have the 62/80 on top and the K31 bottom. They seem to spool OK, and I really like them for pulling down the road, but I thought they'd cool better when on the go pedal hard.

I have the same set of twins, they spool very nicely. I would like them to cool better, it seems they get a little too hot at times.

BTW what is the difference between a k31 and an s400? would a s400 spool better of worse than a k31? Will a S400 cool better than a k31? I would rather have cooler egts. Which one would be better?

k31 is a 71 mm compressor wheel, pretty much the same as an aroura 5000 turbo on the airflow, but has the gated turbine housing for better flow and efficiency. The s400 can be had with a variety of wheels, but the most common is the 75 mm wheel and the 80 mm wheel. The 75 flows about 1400-1500 cfm, the 80 mm flows around 1900 cfm.

So what does the k31 flow for air flow? Would a s400 be a better match turbo than the k31 with the ps62 as the top turbo. I do not tow much. .

Thanks for the reply!
