The wife was rolling along in the 04. 5 in 6th with a horse trailer in tow and the foot feed went dead. She pushed it up and down several times and had to downshift to 5th -still jabbing and fooling with the pedal and was about to down shift again and the critter woke up and drove on like nothing happened. No bump -jump or stutters. Just went to sleep and woke up again. She did not hold the clutch in to see if it would still run at idle. 75K miles --no mods--still original factory pump and never ANY other problems?

IDEAS???

I just sold my 96 to a woman so I think it is getting even somehow:{

When mine did that, the APPS was at fault. Do a search here for P codes, there you will find the whole list of them... . and there a quite a few!!:eek: That 0628 IIRC, is for a faulty lift pump.

Is it going to die on me ?

I have to get it into Anchortown (55 miles) to the Dodge dealer as it is a warranty item. Is there a good chance she will die flat on me ??

If it is lift pump related, yes, there is a damn good chance it will... right when you least need it to die, at least mine did!#@$%!
