It should turn off after a few seconds. My Fass it hooked to the wire from the OEM pump. It is cut so no wiring to the OEM pump. You may start to get codes if that wire is not hooked to a working pump. I think it is orange with a white tracer. It is on my 05. The 05 may be a bit different hook up then some others.

Hmm... the instructions that came with my pump said to connect to the positive side of fuse 39 in the underhood fuse box.

Current instructions on the FASS site say to connect to the positive side of the battery with a relay.

I've been considering getting the Painless underhood fuse block kit so I can clean up some of the wires connected to the battery.

I'd really like to know how to connect the FASS so it only runs with the engine on.

CStockton since you added the FASS set up to your truck with the TST PMCR have you tried using your A/C for any time and did it cool ok?

I dont know what the deal is but I recently added the FASS and my A/c stopped working properly, I spoke to Mark at TST yesterday and he was familiar with the problem and had me relocate the ground wire from the battery to a ground under the dash and that took care of issue. Sounds strange but apparently going from a Direct ground to a secondary ground did it.

Thankfully I've not had that problem.
