swapping auto to 6 speed

In the future I would really like to put a 6 speed in my truck. Just wondering if anyone had done it and how hard it was. Also a rough estimate of how much it would cost. When I do it, I plan on doing all the work myself.

TDR member Jeff_K went the opposite way from NVG5600 to auto so he figured out which parts were which:
